#3 Update: New Faces? New Name?
Same Roots. 🌿
July 2025
Well, July has been a scorcher — quite literally. After weeks of relentless heat and lawns crispier than Ryvita, we’re finally seeing the temperature drop back to something less apocalyptic. If your grass gave up and went to the great compost heap in the sky, you're not alone — we've had clients watering with buckets, prayers, and mild panic.
Despite the heat, things at Edens haven’t slowed down — in fact, we’ve never been busier. Our little garden maintenance business has grown faster than a courgette in June. The demand’s been nonstop, and it’s got us thinking...
👥 Possibly Expanding the Team
With demand at an all-time high, we’re toying with the idea of bringing in an extra pair of hands to help manage the workload. It’s still early days — nothing’s been finalised — but we’re exploring how we might grow the team while keeping our standards high.
If and when new faces do appear, they’ll be people who meet our expectations for quality, reliability, and professionalism. We're not after garden show celebrities — just the right kind of practical, sensible, and respectful help to support the work we already do.
They’ll also be wearing our branded shirts — partly for peace of mind, partly so you know they haven’t just wandered in off the street with a rake.
What’s in a Name?
You might start seeing the name Edens OW pop up here and there — it stands for Edens of Wonersh, and it reflects where we’re based and how we’re evolving. We’re slowly rebranding from Eden GMD to Edens OW to stand out a bit more in a sea of similarly named businesses.
As part of that, we’ll be shifting over to a new email and website address at edensow.co.uk. Don’t worry — the current edengmd.co.uk addresses and links will still work for now. They’ll automatically point to the new site while everyone gets used to the change, and we’ll give plenty of heads-up before anything gets turned off permanently.
And just to reassure you: it’s still us. Same people, same values, same friendly WhatsApp replies and commitment to your gardens. We’re just gradually updating the digital bits, van signage, shirts and contact details to reflect our new identity. No big dramatic relaunch — just a quiet tidy-up, one label at a time.

#2 June at Eden GMD - Looking Back on May’s Momentum
June 2025
Yes, we know — this post is fashionably late..
May came and went in a blur of lawns, borders, and back-to-back enquiries, and we just didn’t stop long enough to write it all down. But here we are now, in June, catching our breath and looking back at what’s been a cracking month for Eden GMD.
Since launching in April, things have really picked up pace. Our advertising started paying off, and word-of-mouth began working its magic. In fact, one of our lovely clients, Gail, shared a post — and the very next day, we did nothing but answer phone calls. That single act of support made a huge impact and reminded us how powerful community can be when it gets behind a small business.
We've had a wide mix of jobs this month, from tidy-ups and seasonal maintenance to more involved garden makeovers. Each one has been a step forward in growing the business, and we’re proud of how far we’ve come in such a short space of time.
June is already looking busy, and we’re not complaining. If May was about building momentum, June is about maintaining it — and continuing to grow with purpose.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported us so far — whether by booking, sharing, or simply cheering us on.
From all of us at Eden GMD, we’re just getting started — and we’re glad you’re coming along for the ride.

#1 Welcome to Eden Garden Maintenance & Design
April 2025
Hello and welcome! We’re really glad you’re here.
We’re Eden Garden Maintenance & Design — a new family-run business based in Wonersh. We opened our gates at the start of spring, turning years of experience and a shared passion for the outdoors into something of our own. A business built on doing good, honest work — together.
What do we do?
We help people make the most of their gardens — whether that’s keeping things tidy, bringing fresh life to borders and beds, or starting from scratch with a new design.
Our services include regular garden maintenance like mowing, pruning, and weeding, but we also handle the jobs that don’t always get the spotlight — pressure washing patios and paths, painting fences and sheds, clearing overgrown spaces, replanting tired areas, or giving neglected corners a second chance.
We believe gardens are more than lawns and hedges. They’re extensions of your home — places to relax, play, and grow in. So whether it’s a simple tidy-up or a bigger transformation, we’ll help you get it how you want it.
Why Eden?
This business is rooted in family. That’s not just how we work behind the scenes — it’s how we work with you. We want our customers to feel part of something local, honest, and personal. When we say we care about your garden, we mean it. And when you book us, you're not getting a rotating crew — you're getting the same faces, the same care, and someone who remembers which shrub your dog always digs under.
You can read a bit more about us and how we got here on our About Us page.
We’ll be using this blog to share garden tips, updates from our work, and the occasional before-and-after we’re proud of. We’ll keep it real, useful, and seasonal.
Thanks for stopping by — and whether you’re a new customer or just browsing, we’d love to hear from you.
